The Questionnaire of Centenary Konkani Mega Bible Quiz, was released at the Bendur Parish here on July 7.
Parish Priest of St Sebastian Church Fr Antony Serrao offered the mass. Later Fr Serrao released the Questionnaire of Centenary Mega Bible Quiz. Addressing the gathering Fr Antony said that the Konkani Bible quiz will increase the knowledge about the Holy Bible.
Briefing on the rules, regulations, conditions, instructions and clues Fr Antony said that, the questionnaire will be available at the Bendur Church Office and the cost of the questionnaire is Rs 150/-. All the Christian faithful from around the world are eligible to take part in the Quiz but participation of group or institution is strictly prohibited.
The quiz is a part of the Centenary and the winners will be awarded during the Centenary Celebrations, which will be held in January 2014. There will be 100 various prizes in the competition and the first prize will be Rs 1 lakh, other winners will also be awarded with cash prizes. 97% of right answers will be awarded with Rs 1 lakh Cash Prize. If there will be more than one winner, the prizes will be shared. The results will be sent to every participant and will also be announced in Raknno weekly and www.mangalorean.com. December 30, 2013, will be the last date, to submit questionnaire to Fr Paul Crasta, Asst Parish Priest, St Sebastian Church Bendur.
Every answer should specify the book, chapter and Verse for reference. Answers can be written in Konkani. Priest, Pastors, Bible Preachers are not eligible to take part in the contest. Every participant should read the rules and regulations properly and sign the consent letter. The Quiz committee decision will be final.
