Chess competition will be on 16th December. Zone leaders are requested to collect the entry forms from the church office.

Today, there will be programme for Senior Citizens organized by Catholic Sabha from 4pm to 5.00pm in the parish hall. Those who are above 60 years of age are requested attend this programme.

Monday, there will be Women’s Sodality meeting at 5.30pm.

Wednesday, there will be choir practice for Christmas at 5.30pm. Those who would like to join for the Choir may come for the practice.

Saturday, is the Solemn Feast of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Next Sunday, there will be a meeting of the Parish Pastoral Parishad members together with the volunteers chosen by the Gurkars, at 9.15am. Gurkars are requested to see that all members from the ward attend the meeting.

We are collecting murdom of Rs. 100 or more for Christmas celebration. Please contribute towards expenses.
For Christmas we have to illuminate the Church ground and Belfry. Those who are interested to take the contract may collect the tender format from the Church office by this week and submit the quotation by 15th of December.

On the Vigil of the Nativity of the Lord, there will be Carol singing at 7.30 pm, Christmas night mass will be at 8.00 pm. and after the mass there will be veneration of Infant Jesus then Housie Housie. Christmas week’s program is published in the Voice of Bendur of December issue.

On the evening of Christmas day from 3.30 to 9.00 pm there will be a fancy fete in the Church premises to collect the funds towards on going construction of Padua College building & for CAL. We will be sending the Tickets through the Gurkars. You are requested to buy them & help the cause. Like previous years, this year also we request every ward to contribute Rs. 1,000 for the banner.

All those who have not paid the Annual to the Church are reminded to pay the same as early as possible. Annual Contribution is calculated on the basis of annual income of the family – i.e. 0.5 % on the total annual income of the entire family. For example if annual income of all your family members is rupees one lakh, then the annual contribution will be Rs. 500 and the daily wage earners are to pay, one day’s wage that is Rs. 250/- per year.

‘White Doves’ presents the mobile street show – through song and act on the birth and life of Jesus Christ, at Padua High School Grounds on next Sunday, at 8.00 pm. All are requested to attend this program.
